Boo Boo Cousins is no stranger to revealing himself to strangers. A New York native, Mr. Cousins has become a producer, singer and songwriter. But not overnight. Working his way around the recording studio and performing on stage has been 2 of his favorite things to do.
By using a unique blend of live instruments and today’s technological advances in music equipment the layering of his sound has people listening. Whether you like to dance, groove or just chill to acoustic passages you'll find what you need with his CD's "DIRECT SUNLIGHT" & "LAID BACK COOL".
He's been fortunate enough to play and collaborate with other musicians. Taking the stage at numerous venues in New York City and across the U.S., playing live for him helps release a special freedom that translates to audiences that have heard him play. And having the ability to perform with other musicians has been one of the high points for him. Currently writing & recording new songs he hopes to have a new release of music in 2008.

He’s had the opportunity to play at Joe’s Pub, S.O.B’s, The Nuyorican Poetry Cafe, Bowery Poetry Club, City Tech College, Marymount College, The Schomberg Museum, The Remote Lounge, Crash Mansion, CBGB’s Gallery, Rare, The 5 Spot, The Chocolate Monkey, Sputnik, October Gallery, Pace University, Upsouth International Book Festival and Hampshire College among other venues.
His songwriting ability has caught the attention of audiences whether he is performing with a band or playing guitar and singing on stage. Songs that he has written such as Daybreak, Want You In My Life, Direct Sunlight, Trippy Pills, My One Weakness, Wish I Was Still With You and Laid Back Cool have become memorable favorites for small and large audiences alike.
